fruitWeight Loss Central has a basic and simple philosophy: weight control requires commitment and discipline, but that doesn't mean you should feel deprived and miserable.  We emphasize healthy eating that incorporates lean, low fat proteins, fruits, vegetables, and healthy grains.  More important, we emphasize the healthy lifestyle versus "going on a diet."

Going on a diet sounds temporary, but a healthy lifestyle is a life-long commitment to feeling strong and being fit.  Our goal is to focus on the young people because that's where the habits and choices start that will determine how healthy you are as an adult.

Our goal is to create a community of like-minded young people who want to find a healthy, reasonable way to eat (no fads or gimmicks because those always eventually fail) and keep fit.  Clinical studies clearly show that the best way to become a life-long weight controller is to follow a reasonable and healthy diet and incorporate activity into your daily life.  Because this is a new community, we would love to hear from you. We respect your suggestions and feedback and truly believe you, our visitors, will make this the site we envision: a place where young people can come for support and understanding as they make the commitment to life-long healthy choices.
