It's Not Just American Kids Who Need to Get Fit
By Weight Loss Central
We continually hear stories about the obesity epidemic in America. The epidemic is spreading. According to recent studies of teens in the European Union, a mere 15% of teens eat enough fruits and vegetables each day. One-third of teens get more than one-third of their daily calories from fat.

Seidel, a professor of nutrition and health and director of the Institute for Health Sciences in the Netherlands, warns that lower income families are turning to cheaper packaged and processed foods that are high in fat. He believes the EU needs to focus on making fruits and vegetables more affordable for all families.
