Day One:
Eat all the cabbage soup and fruit you want (except bananas).
Day Two:
Eat all the soup and fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables you want except beans, peas, and corn. For dinner, you can treat yourself to a baked potato with butter.
Day Three:
Eat all the soup, fruits, and vegetables you want, but omit the baked potato.
Day Four:
Eat up to eight bananas and all the cabbage soup and skim milk you want in order to lessen your “sweet tooth.”
Day Five:
Eat all the soup you want and up to twenty ounces of beef and six fresh tomatoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water to wash the uric acid from your body. You may substitute broiled or baked chicken without skin or broiled fish for your beef.
Day Six:
Eat all the beef and vegetables you want, but no baked potato. Eat your soup at least once.
Day Seven:
Eat all the brown rice and vegetables you want and drink unsweetened fruit juices. Eat your soup at least once.
Cabbage Soup Recipe
6 large green onions (sliced)
2 green peppers (chopped)
1-2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)
3 carrots (chopped)
10 oz. mushrooms (sliced)
1 bunch of celery
Half a head of cabbage (chopped into bite-sized pieces)
1 package Lipton soup mix
1-2 cubes of bouillon (optional)
One 48 oz can V8 juice (optional)
Seasonings such as salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.
Place all ingredients into a large pot and cover with 12 cups of water (or use 8 cups of water plus V8 juice). Let the soup simmer on low for at least two hours, and add seasonings to taste.
